The core of the music is blues with soul with a tinge of jazz in the instrumentation and timing. The songs Hope & Let’s Reinvent (Love) revolve and curl around the smooth vocal’s of Malaya Blue. The instrumentation augments the sound created as her live band show their credentials and the addition of Graham Pettican guesting on Piano. This is a single that teases about what the album has to offer.
